East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Midwifery Team Leader for the Burnley Birth Centre on a fixed-term 12-month basis. This Band 7 post combines managerial duties with clinical responsibilities to ensure safe, personal and effective care.

The post oversees daily Birth Centre operations, coordinates community activity and staffing, and works with the Midwife Led Birth Centre and Neonatal colleagues to maintain high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily management of the Birth Centre and coordination of Community activity and staffing.
• Lead on clinical activity and patient flow, while supporting the needs of patients and staff.
• Work within the Midwife Led Birth Centre and in collaboration with Neonatal colleagues to ensure high standards of care.
