The Kirby Institute at UNSW Sydney is seeking a Research Fellow (Biostatistician) to design, analyze and report health data from large linked datasets. You will advance population health insights by applying advanced statistical methods in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

This role emphasizes high-quality research, independent work with limited supervision, and contribution to publications and policy-relevant reports for national and global audiences.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in a related discipline and/or relevant work experience.
• Experience with linked health data and surveillance datasets.
• Strong skills in statistical programming and data management.
• Proven ability to publish research outputs and present findings.

Aufgaben

• Design, document, analyze and report linked and surveillance health data.
• Lead statistical analyses of national linked health and social datasets.
• Collaborate with investigators to translate findings into papers and reports.
• Develop advanced data management and analysis methods for large datasets.
• Prepare study concept sheets, SAPs, code, and data visualizations.
