Qualifications

  • Work in shift patterns from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 7 pm.

About the role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist (FIXED TERM) within our Histology department based at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow. Our working hours are from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 7 pm & you are expected to work in shift patterns. We are looking for a candidate who have completed their IBMS specialist portfolio in Histopathology Department and can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills. The successful candidate is expected to provide Histology services including dissection, embedding, microtomy, cryotomy, special stains, Immunohistochemistry & able to perform quality checks.

You will be joining our energetic, highly motivated, dynamic & passionate team of 60 people. You are expected to be proactive, motivated and a team player with an excellent communication skill. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to progress in their careers.

We provide Cellular Pathology services to London Northwest University Healthcare NHS Trust (one of the largest integrated NHS Trusts in the country).

Essential qualifications and experience
  • HCPC Registered - include registration number with your CV and application.
  • Extensive laboratory experience in Histopathology as Specialist Biomedical scientist.
  • Full and unrestricted work rights for the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship currently.

We are UKAS accredited and a recognized HCPC/IBMS training laboratory.
