Job summary

Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital is recruiting a Biomedical Scientist for a part-time bank position in our pathology team. The role involves delivering high-quality pathology services and supporting out-of-hours on-call coverage in a modern laboratory.

You will perform diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control with records maintenance and equipment validation. We value strong communication and teamwork as you contribute to patient care with multidisciplinary science

Qualifications

• Relevant biomedical science qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science.
• Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment and techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality pathology services.
• Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service.

Overview

Biomedical Scientist Cheltenham Hospital | Pathology | Bank | Part time | Up to £20 per hour depending on experience.

To look after the nation’s health, we must provide the highest standards of care. We are seeking a Biomedical Scientist who understands the importance of maintaining strong relationships while delivering high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory. You will bring relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science, with a good working knowledge of analytical equipment across a range of techniques. You should be a natural communicator and team player who shares our commitment to quality.
