Job summary

Biomedical Scientist (Biochemistry) – Belfast

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biomedical Scientist (Biochemistry) to join our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting biochemical analyses, developing and validating assays, and supporting research and clinical projects. The role involves both routine testing and investigative research, contributing to innovation in diagnostics and biotechnology.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing clinical samples in a busy lab, including sampling pre/post analytics, sample analysis, and adhering to test specifications.
• Developing analytical methods and supporting validation activities.
• Training junior staff and contributing to QA/QMS documentation to fulfil ISO 15189 requirements.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related discipline (essential).
• HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist (essential).
