PageUp People Limited seeks a Research Assistant Professor / Postdoctoral fellow in Mechanical Engineering to lead research on fluid dynamics and interfacial phenomena, with potential biomedical applications. Qualifications

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Hands-on experience in microfluidics and diagnostic tool design is highly preferred.
• Fresh graduates with outstanding academic achievement and strong passion in applied research will also be considered.
• Fluent English in writing and verbal communication; clear and concise writing skills.
• Good time management with responsibility and research ethics.
• Self-motivated team player who can be assertive to achieve results and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out research under supervision for projects ranging from fluid dynamics to biomedical applications.
• Drive research activities towards defined goals within timelines.
• Translate research to users through commercialization activities.
• Process data analysis and management.
• Draft proposals, reports and presentations relevant to the projects.
• Liaise with project collaborators and partners.
• Perform laboratory administrative duties.
• Handle other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
