Job summary

Aspire People is seeking qualified Biology Teachers for secondary teaching opportunities across Birmingham and Solihull. Roles include daily supply, short-term cover, long-term assignments and permanent opportunities, with responsibilities such as planning, marking and assessment where appropriate.

Candidates should hold QTS or QTLS, have strong Biology knowledge, confident classroom management, and be able to teach Science across the secondary age range. Competitive daily rates apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Biology teacher with QTS or QTLS.
• Strong Biology knowledge and confident classroom management.
• Ability to teach Science across KS3–KS5 and GCSE/A-Level Biology where appropriate.
• Experience with short-term, long-term and permanent teaching opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Teach Biology across KS3–KS5 as required by schools.
• Plan, deliver, mark and assess longer-term assignments.
• Adapt lessons to mixed abilities and exam specifications.
• Maintain safeguarding and professional standards in the classroom.
