Biology teacher

Location: Biology teacher

Contract: Temporary (with potential for long term opportunities)

Pay/rate: 130 - 200 per day (dependent on role)

Start date: Flexible

Your role

At term time teachers we are looking for an experienced Biology teacher to teach and inspire pupils in an exceptional science department in Tonbridge. This is a great opportunity to inspire children and contribute to their academical progress within biology.

Your responsibilities
  • Plan and mark work timely, producing relevant feedback to the children to support their academic progress.
  • Teach science through a variety of creative lessons and practical's.
  • Create awe and wonder in line with the biology curriculum.
  • Monitor children's development and assess their ongoing progress.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching physics in UK secondary schools.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.
