We are seeking a dedicated Biology Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis from January to August 2026. This role involves full teaching responsibilities at a dynamic educational institution in Surrey. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering a love of biology among students and capable of delivering high-quality education.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils and by organising learning resources and the classroom environment.
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
  • Stay updated on new teaching methods and developments in the curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
