Full‑time, permanent
Salary: dependent on experience
Start date: January 2026

Responsibilities
  • Teach biology across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, preparing students for GCSE and A‑Level examinations.
  • Design and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that inspire curiosity and build confidence.
  • Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
  • Bring learning to life with hands‑on experiments, fieldwork and innovative teaching approaches.
  • Contribute to enrichment activities, including STEM clubs and school events.
  • Support the wider life of the school through collaboration, commitment and pastoral care.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A degree in Biology (or a related field) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • The ability to teach biology confidently across Key Stages 3‑5, including GCSE and A‑Level.
  • A proven track record of excellent classroom practice, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and adaptable approach.
  • A genuine passion for biology and a commitment to fostering a lifelong love of learning in pupils.
