We are seeking a passionate and reflective Teacher of Biology to join our thriving department in September 2026. With over 100 pupils studying Biology post-IGCSE, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking team that values intellectual curiosity, academic rigour, and holistic education.
The successful candidate will teach across the age range (13–18), including GCSE, A Level, and IB Diploma courses. You will be part of a collaborative department of 11 teachers and 3 technicians, working in modern laboratories and Harkness rooms that support both practical and theoretical learning. Beyond the classroom, you will play an active role in the pastoral and co-curricular life of the College, embracing the full boarding school experience.
We are looking for someone with strong subject knowledge, a genuine enthusiasm for education, and a commitment to supporting pupils' personal and academic development. A degree in Biology or a closely related discipline is essential, and experience teaching students aged 13–19 is expected. A recognised teaching qualification and experience with the IB Diploma Programme would be advantageous.
