A leading biotechnology company in the Greater Manchester Area is seeking a Bioinformatics professional to support data analysis within their research teams. Ideal candidates will possess a BSc or MSc in bioinformatics, with experience in R or Python, and familiarity with Linux operating systems. This role offers a collaborative environment focused on innovative drug discovery.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. Flexible working hours.

As a member of the bioinformatics group, based in our Manchester workspace, our bioinformatics support all aspects of data analysis, visualisation and interpretation within Almac Discovery.
Working across the biology, chemistry, and protein therapeutics teams, the role will support the analysis demand of the drug discovery projects, aid clinical positioning and drive the new target identification that feeds our pipeline.
