Job summary

Operation Wallacea is seeking a Postgraduate Publicity Agent at University of Bristol to help spread the word about biodiversity conservation talks and expedition research.

You’ll promote talks across campus (in person and online), use posters, social media and email, and engage societies; the role is flexible and part-time to suit your studies, with £200 earnings plus a £50 bonus for bringing 50+ students to the main talk.

Responsibilities

• Promoting Opwall’s talks across the university using posters, social media, email and word of mouth.
• Put up posters and verify visibility.
• Distribute postcards after lectures.
• Share promotional slides with lecturers in relevant classes.
• Send promo emails to students in relevant departments.
• Engage student societies to spread the word.
• Publish posts on social media channels.
• Attend careers fairs and talks to confirm turnout.
• Keep the UK office updated on progress.
