Qualifications

  • Experience of working in an NHS laboratory, gained over several years.
  • Experience of Automation techniques.
  • Experience of accreditation systems and QC schemes in Biochemistry.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all requests are processed in accordance with department protocols.
  • Plan, perform and interpret biochemical investigations.
  • Provide accurate biochemistry results entered into the computer system.
  • Comply with biochemistry policies.
  • Participate in Internal and External Quality Assurance Schemes.
