Job summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking an experienced BIM Technician to support major water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the Anglian Water region. You will develop 3D BIM models using Revit and Plant 3D, coordinating with engineers and designers to deliver compliant designs and data-rich models.

Hybrid working is available from Peterborough. The role requires knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650), model coordination with Navisworks, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and

Qualifications

  • Proven experience using Revit and Plant 3D to develop 3D models and engineering drawings.
  • Experience working on infrastructure, utilities, water or wastewater projects.
  • Knowledge of BIM standards and processes, including ISO 19650.
  • Experience with Navisworks, Civil 3D and Recap would be advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret engineering specifications, drawings and technical information.
  • Understanding of design coordination and multidisciplinary project delivery.
  • A proactive approach to learning, problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to health, safety and sustainable design principles.

The Alliance is a ground-breaking collaboration between Anglian Water and eight industry-leading partners: Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO. And together, we deliver around 40% of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.

As we progress through AMP8 – our most ambitious asset management period to date – we’re delivering nature-based and sustainable infrastructure, from wetlands to urban drainage schemes, setting new benchmarks for environmental performance.

We are looking for an experienced BIM Technician with strong Revit and Plant 3D expertise to support the delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You'll develop intelligent 3D models that drive efficient design, improve collaboration and support the successful delivery of sustainable solutions across the Anglian Water region.

Working closely with engineers, designers and project teams, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality BIM models, supporting digital innovation and ensuring projects are delivered to industry and alliance standards.
