This organisation offers the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis from either their Glasgow or Edinburgh offices. Responsibilities
  • Create and develop accurate MEP models, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency throughout all designs, with the use of Autodesk Revit.
  • Use a range of automation tools and other software resources to ensure efficient workflows, such as Dynamo, BIM 360, and ACC.
  • Liaise with project professionals, across a range of disciplines, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Oversee and verify external model creation, whilst ensuring design and document changes are being implemented accurately.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience within a BIM Technician role, or similar, working on Revit MEP projects, across a range of sectors, such as Education, Residential, and Healthcare.
  • Strong proficiency with the creation and development of MEP models and designs, whilst also understanding CDE workflows, clash detection, and automation tools.
  • Significant understanding of relevant software tools, such as Dynamo, BIM 360, AutoCAD, Solibri, and Microsoft office.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, principles, and regulations, along with the BS EN ISO 19650 suite of standards.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, whilst also being able to work independently, with a proactive mindset, and a willingness to improve processes.
