Job summary

Amentum is seeking a professional to support ongoing or planned infrastructure work around the 5 Basin at HMNB Devonport, part of a decade‑long redevelopment for the Royal Navy. The role offers flexible working with a mix of office-based and home environments, with Glasgow as the preferred base.

You'll join a multidiscipline engineering/industrial design team, use Revit and AutoCAD, produce 3D CAD in BIM, and contribute across electrical and mechanical building services.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering disciplines.
• Experience in defence or nuclear-related industries preferred but not essential.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical building services incl. power, lighting, CCTV, alarms.
• UK national, sole residence in UK for 5 years and eligibility for SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D/3D drawings within BIM-enabled environment.
• Contribute across electrical and mechanical building services design.
• Collaborate in a multidiscipline engineering team and support secure projects.
