Job summary

Houses of Parliament Restoral and Renewal Programme is seeking a BIM Manager to lead the BIM and Digital Asset Management activities within the TADM Team. The post will shape specification scoping, strategy, and implementation to drive project level digital design per Programme standards and assure data deliverables.

The role requires a degree in BIM/Surveying/Engineering or equivalent, plus experience on major construction projects, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in BIM, Surveying, Engineering or related field.
• Major construction project or infrastructure programme experience.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent understanding of BIM processes and toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage BIM and Digital Asset Management activities for the programme.
• Scope specifications, define strategy and implement to drive digital design in line with programme standards.
• Provide quality assurance of data deliverables and BIM outputs.

Job description

We’re now looking for a Building Information Modelling (BIM) Manager to join our Technical Assurance and Design Management (TADM) Team.

The BIM Manager post is required to develop and manage the BIM and Digital Asset Management activities for the Restoration and Renewal Programme Delivery Authority.

They will be responsible for specification scoping, strategy and implementation to drive the development of project level digital design in accordance with Programme standards and provide quality assurance of data deliverables.

The following skills and experience are essential to your success in this role:

• Degree/equivalent qualification (or equivalent-level technical experience) in a related subject of BIM, Surveying, Engineering or similar
• Major construction project or infrastructure programme experience
• Good knowledge of using AutoCAD and Revit
• Excellent understanding of established BIM process and toolsets

Salary circa £65,000 per annum
