BIM Digital Modeller

Salary - Annum Negotiable depending on experience

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of the UK's successful gold value-added resellers of industry software, IT hardware, infrastructure, consultancy, and data service solutions, who is looking for an accomplished Architecture, Engineering and Construction AEC Application Engineer to move them forward. They offer a range of training options, including structured courses at our four training centres, onsite training, bespoke courses, and mentoring days. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a BIM digital modeller to join the team.

This role is ideal for a technically strong BIM Digital Modeller / Revit Technician who thrives in a BIM-led environment. You will be responsible for creating technically accurate, highly detailed digital models that support project coordination, design decision-making, and structured BIM workflows. Operating within industry frameworks such as EIRs, BEPs, LOD/LOI definitions, and ISO 19650 principles, you will interpret project documentation, build robust component families, and ensure digital outputs are delivered to the highest standards. You will have a keen interest in Digital Construction.

Responsibility & Duties

• Produce detailed, accurate 3D building models in Revit, in line with project specifications, industry standards, and BIM protocols as the BIM Digital Modeller
• Interpret and align with BEPs, EIRs, and other BIM documentation to ensure modelling meets agreed project requirements as the BIM Digital Modeller
• Develop models that reflect varying Levels of Detail (LOD) and Levels of Information (LOI) appropriate to the project stage.
• Participate in coordination reviews using Navisworks or Solibri, supporting clash detection, model validation, and federated model analysis.
• Create, manage, and maintain Revit families - including parametric, bespoke, and libraries.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and external design collaborators to ensure model accuracy, discipline compatibility, and data interoperability.

Experience & Background

• Minimum of 3+ years' hands-on project experience using Autodesk Revit.
• Proven experience modelling architectural, structural, interior and/or landscape background
• Solid understanding of BIM principles, ISO 19650 processes, modelling standards
• Ability to work with object-based modelling, parametric families & detailed component creation as the BIM Digital Modeller
• Experience with varying LOD/LOI expectations, model progression, and project-stage information requirements as the BIM Digital Modeller
• Clear communication skills with the confidence to collaborate within project design teams, including participation in design-meeting discussions.
• Self-sufficient and able to drive projects independently and effectively
• Revit experience Essentials as the BIM Digital Modeller
• Naviworks, Cobie, Solibri, AutoCAD, Point Cloud advantageous
