The Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Billing Officer to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely billing for patient services, liaising with consultants, insurers, and patients to maintain financial integrity and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue invoices for medical services rendered
  • Verify insurance details and authorisations prior to billing
  • Liaise with consultants and departments to ensure accurate charge capture
  • Resolve billing queries and discrepancies efficiently
  • Maintain up-to‑date records of patient accounts and payments
  • Support month‑end reporting and reconciliation processes
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and relevant financial regulations
About You
  • Previous experience in a billing or finance role, ideally within healthcare
  • Strong understanding of private medical insurance processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
