We are currently a team of over 400 client facing consultants and 150 Head Office staff at Newton. We are looking for a bright and capable Accounts Administration Assistant to join our Finance team in a fixed term role based in our Head Office in Kingston Bagpuize, Oxfordshire. The finance function sits at the heart of the business, not only controlling and reporting financial performance as custodians of a £130m revenue / £40m profit business, but also constantly evolving and adapting to the business' growth aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve employee expenses on our expense platform
  • Set up employee expenses payment runs on our finance system
  • Monthly reconciliation of the company credit cards
  • Ensure prompt and accurate submission of all company timecards
  • Providing ad-hoc administration support such as helping input purchase ledger invoices when demand requires
Key Requirements
  • Deal with a constantly changing environment and act on your own initiative
  • Empathise with others and have strong interpersonal skills
  • Adopt a framework and apply judgement in its execution
  • Have good IT skills, and be comfortable working in Microsoft Excel
  • Be organised and be able to prioritise when faced with competing demands
  • Work well in a team and enjoy communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Attend our office in Kingston Bagpuize, Oxfordshire a minimum of 3 days a week
