Job summary

Aberaeron Primary School is seeking two dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join the team. The role supports pupils, including those with additional needs, and assists with delivering engaging lessons in a bilingual Welsh/English environment.

You will work alongside teachers, help implement Individual Education and Behaviour Plans, promote inclusive practice, and assist with resources and wider school activities.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both Welsh and English (bilingual)
• Has experience of working with or caring for children
• Holds NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification
• Can use ICT effectively to support learning
• Positive, flexible and able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Understands safeguarding, inclusion and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Provide support to pupils, including those with additional needs, helping them access learning and build confidence
• Work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities
• Support the development of Individual Education and Behaviour Plans
• Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour
• Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and wider school activities
