Overview

My well established construction company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects across multiple industry sectors, mainly with a Government focus, is urgently recruiting an experienced Bid Writer to join our dynamic pre-construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write, edit, and coordinate high-quality bid responses for PQQs, ITTs, and RFPs.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, client-focused content.
  • Tailor responses to meet specific client requirements and scoring criteria.
  • Manage bid timelines and ensure submissions are completed on time.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to gather input and develop winning narratives.
  • Maintain and develop a library of standard responses, case studies, CVs, and other supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the bid process and content quality.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer in the construction industry (essential).
  • Strong understanding of construction terminology, project delivery methods, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
