About the role - Bid Writer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Bid Writer to join a leading Social Housing Contractor who are an experiencing an exciting period of growth. The company specialise in decarbonisation/retrofit and are a leader in their field. Due to growth, they are looking to appoint a Bid Writer to work alongside an established team, including; Head of Bid, a Bid Coordinator and another Bid Writer.

The position offers a lot of career development alongside the opportunity to have a real impact on the development and growth of a bid department within a rapidly expanding company.

What will you be responsible for?
  • Writing company submissions including tender quality proposals, pre-qualification proposals, expression of interest proposals and customer information documents
  • Assisting with the bid strategy to achieve an excellent success rate for company bids by identifying winning themes
  • Set up/maintain best practice library of company submissions, competitor information, performance case studies, procurement/market developments/success/conversion rates
  • Provide information as required to the Client's procurement knowledge centre
Package on offer for the Bid Writer role:

You will be compensated with a basic salary of £35-40k + benefits, including a discretionary annual bonus.

Please note, this is an office based role with no home working.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally within Construction/Social Housing.
