Bid Writer - North/North East London (On-site)

We are looking for a skilled Bid Writer to join the preconstruction/bid team within my main contractor client. This is a full-time, on-site role for someone who thrives on producing high-quality, compelling bid submissions and tender responses within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and produce professional responses for tenders, proposals, and presentations.
  • Conduct thorough research and gather information from cross-functional teams.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Maintain an up-to-date repository of materials to support future bids.
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure submissions meet deadlines.
What We Are Looking For
  • 3+ years' experience in a construction environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to produce clear, compelling content.
  • Strong project and time management skills to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of construction, property development, or experience working with Local Authorities is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
