Bid & Sales Support Executive

Our client, a leading European vehicle rental business, is seeking an energetic and creative Bid & Sales Support Executive to join their dynamic UK sales team.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the end‑to‑end tender process, working collaboratively with the sales team to win new business across their mobility solutions offering. You'll develop relationships with key internal stakeholders across the UK and wider Group, ensuring tender submissions are compelling, solution‑focused and aligned with the company's mobility strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete tender process for all sales opportunities including RFPs and RFQs
  • Monitor daily tender portals and tracker alerts to identify relevant opportunities for car and van rental
  • Work with Account Directors, Business Development Directors and Commercial Management to develop customer‑focused responses
  • Ensure all submissions are relevant, compelling and completed to the highest standard
  • Complete pre‑tender questionnaires and create pre/post tender action plans
  • Maintain accurate tender tracking in Salesforce for analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop sales materials and corporate presentations
  • Maintain the department's knowledge base as a single point of reference
  • Support international tenders with UK elements and assist Operations with their submissions
  • Provide ad‑hoc support for key initiatives and internal presentations
What We're Looking For
  • Previous bid writing/management experience (essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong literacy and numeracy abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and creativity
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines
  • Effective relationship builder who communicates well at all levels
  • Experience with Google applications and Salesforce or similar CRM (desirable)
Desirable
  • Experience in the automotive rental or leasing sector (not essential)
Location

Hybrid – 3‑5 days per month in Leicester office, remainder working from home
