A leading defence organisation in the UK is seeking Procurement Officers to manage supplier subcontracts and ensure adherence to delivery obligations. This hybrid role offers a salary of around £36,000, contingent on experience. Successful candidates will be responsible for negotiating contracts, tackling supplier issues, and working in a collaborative environment to support defence capabilities. The position also requires UK citizenship and involves dynamic working conditions.
We seek passionate Procurement Officers to work collaboratively with our suppliers around the world, enabling MBDA to provide world‑leading defence capabilities for our home Nations and their Allies. This role will manage mature series production supplier subcontracts and undertake activities such as ensuring supplier delivery in line with contract obligations to support both Domestic and Export Customers, negotiating value‑for‑money pricing arrangements, bidding for new business and placing subsequent subcontracts, managing supplier obsolescence issues, and deploying mitigation strategies.

Salary: Circa £36,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2–3 days per week on‑site due to workload classification.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum, and after the offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
