Role Overview

The Bid Manager will take ownership of the end-to-end bid and proposal process, leading responses to public- and private-sector tenders across a range of service lines. The role involves shaping bid strategy, coordinating technical contributors, producing high-quality written submissions, and ensuring governance throughout the bidding lifecycle.

Skills & Experience
Essential
  • Experience as a Bid Manager, Proposal Lead, or Bid Writer within consultancy, technology services, or similar complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of structured sales cycles, tenders, and public-sector procurement.
  • Excellent written communication, editing, and persuasive writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate contributions across teams.
  • Comfortable engaging with technical experts and senior stakeholders.
Desirable
  • Experience working with regulated, high-assurance, or compliance-heavy sectors.
  • Knowledge of public-sector frameworks (e.g., digital, technology, professional services).
