Beard in Oxford is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our Pre Construction team. You’ll lead the end-to-end bid process and develop robust tender programmes and practical logistics strategies.

This role suits those with site, project or contracts management experience looking to transition into a work-winning environment, working with estimators, operations and suppliers to craft compliant, winning submissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Bid Management or related operational role.
• Degree in Construction Management or related discipline preferred.
• Strong IT capability with MS Office; familiarity with InDesign/Adobe suite helpful.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end bid process from enquiry to submission.
• Produce high-quality tailored tender submissions aligned to client needs.
• Collaborate with estimators, operations and supply chain to ensure compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive tender programmes, logistics plans and qualitative responses.
• Identify alternative methodologies to improve competitiveness.
