Randstad Staffing is seeking a Bid Manager to lead submissions for national frameworks and flagship projects. You will manage the full bid lifecycle from pre-tender through contract execution, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver winning outcomes.

Bid Manager - National Frameworks

Salary: £48,000 - £60,000 + Company Car / Allowance + Premium Benefits

Location: Hybrid (Work from Home / Regional Office Access)

Ready to shape high-value work-winning strategy for an industry leader? A premier Tier 1 Construction Contractor is seeking a Bid Manager to lead and execute successful submissions across major national frameworks and flagship projects.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Bid Management: Drive the full lifecycle from pre-tender preparation, SQ, and ITT stages through to contract execution and review gateways.

• Strategy & Content Creation: Develop winning bid plans, draft compelling tender responses, lead answer planning workshops, and coordinate technical input.

• Team Collaboration: Manage multi-disciplinary bid teams, external consultants, and specialist regional, sustainability, and social value teams.

• Governance & Quality: Ensure all project documents, presentations, and final submissions meet the highest quality standards, strict deadlines, and compliance rules.

• Continuous Improvement: Maintain standard document libraries, build framework networks, and refine best-practice methodologies.

Key Requirements

• Tier 1 Background: Current or previous experience working directly for a Tier 1 Construction Contractor in a Bid Manager role.

• Framework Expertise: Proven track record of securing places on major National Frameworks (e.g., DfE, P23, CCS).

• Major Project Scale: Experience operating at a national level on high-value tenders (£100m+).

• Strong Bid Writing: Exceptional written communication skills with the direct capability to draft winning tender content.
