Job description

We're looking for a Bid Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in London.

Location: London - some remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - flexibility on start and finish times available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in securing strategic projects for Kier Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks. You'll lead opportunities independently and collaborate with Senior Bid Managers on major, complex pursuits - bringing together internal teams and external partners to craft compelling, client-focused proposals. • Lead tender development and bid teams from opportunity identification through contract award, ensuring high‑quality submissions and compliance with governance processes
• Define bid‑winning strategies, manage pre‑bid preparation, and influence tender approaches through contract, commercial, and supply chain discussions
• Coordinate resources, delivery structures, and designer appointments while chairing bid meetings and ensuring timely completion of actions
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, managing communications, technical queries, and showcasing technical, quality, and experience requirements in submissions
• Oversee tender programmes, risk and opportunity registers, and conduct thorough bid reviews to ensure logical, well‑planned bids and seamless handover to delivery teams
