Job description

Are you the person who thrives on winning?

If you're commercially minded, highly organised, and known for bringing people together to deliver complex opportunities, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

We're looking for a confident and driven Bid Manager to take ownership of strategic opportunities from qualification through to submission. You'll be at the centre of the action, shaping winning proposals, influencing senior stakeholders, coordinating cross-functional teams, and helping secure significant commercial growth for the business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining commercial thinking, strategy, project management, and stakeholder engagement. While experience within telecommunications is beneficial, it isn't essential. We're particularly interested in candidates who have managed complex bids and can quickly understand and articulate technical or product-based solutions within a B2B environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading the end-to-end bid lifecycle from qualification through to submission and post-bid review.
  • Developing winning strategies, value propositions, and customer-focused messaging. Collaborating with Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, and Technical teams to shape compelling solutions.
  • Managing bid governance, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Producing high-quality proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and ITT responses that stand out from the competition.
  • Supporting commercial decision-making to ensure proposals remain competitive and profitable.
  • Facilitating bid workshops, review sessions, and strategic discussions.
  • Driving continuous improvement through lessons learned and bid performance analysis.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience managing complex bids, tenders, or strategic proposals.
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at all levels.
  • The ability to transform technical and commercial information into compelling customer-focused content.
  • A proactive, resilient, and results-driven mindset.
  • Experience within telecommunications is welcome, but we also encourage applications from professionals working in technology, IT services, managed services, infrastructure, engineering, professional services, or other complex B2B sectors.
