Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking a Bid Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary bids across Europe, the Middle East and Africa from capture to submission. The role sits within our European Bid Team and offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement with UK office connectivity.

You will develop bid and win strategies, work with senior leaders and technical specialists, and manage governance processes while mentoring the wider bid team.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in bid or proposal management.
• Strong understanding of public tendering processes and bid management best practice.
• Experience delivering successful bids within a consulting, professional services or people-based business.
• Excellent project management skills coordinating multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Strong written communication with persuasive proposal content.
• APMP Foundation certification and/or Adobe InDesign experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our established European Bid Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting major opportunities across our Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, working on large-scale and high-value bids across a diverse range of sectors.

We offer flexible hybrid working, enabling you to be connected to any of our UK offices while maintaining a balance between office and home working. In This Role, You Will

About You

• Advanced experience in bid or proposal management, or demonstrable experience as a senior bid coordinator ready for the next step
• Strong understanding of public tendering processes and bid management best practice
• Experience delivering successful bids within a consulting, professional services or people-based business
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deadlines
• Strong written communication skills, with experience developing persuasive proposal content
• Confident engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
• APMP Foundation certification and/or Adobe InDesign experience would be advantageous
