We're looking for an Assistant Bid Manager to join our growing Business Development team. You'll support the Bid Manager and Bid Lead with sourcing and responding to tenders, producing high-quality proposals, and managing small to medium‑size bids end‑to‑end. It’s a role where you’ll learn quickly, develop your bid‑management skills, and play a key part in helping us win new business.

Location: Remote – occasional office visits

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage incoming bid opportunities, profiling them for timely review
  • Support the production of bids and proposals, creating or sourcing content from across the business
  • Manage bid submissions for small to medium‑size opportunities through the full sales lifecycle
  • Coordinate stakeholders across Business Development, technical, delivery, and commercial teams
  • Keep our bid library and tools up to date, and contribute to continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • A genuine interest in bids, proposals, and the commercial world
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Team‑player mindset with great relationship‑building skills
  • Good IT skills across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice to have
  • A degree in IT, business, or another relevant subject (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with procurement portals, PQQs, or selection questionnaires
  • Familiarity with public sector or commercial routes to market
