The Opportunity

Our client is an established, multi‑brand consumer business investing heavily in its data and digital capabilities.

As part of this continued investment, they are looking for an experienced BI Developer & Data Engineer to take ownership of their Microsoft analytics platform, ensuring it is scalable, reliable and capable of supporting data‑driven decision making across the organisation.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building well‑designed data models, optimising performance and creating trusted data solutions that enable business insight.

Working within a growing analytics function, you'll play a key role in developing the organisation's data platform while helping establish best practice across business intelligence, data engineering and governance.

The Role

Working closely with analytics and business stakeholders, you'll translate requirements into scalable, well‑engineered solutions while ensuring the platform remains performant, secure and easy to maintain.

This is a hands‑on technical position suited to someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges and continuously improving the quality and reliability of enterprise data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise data models within Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Design, build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines across multiple business systems.

  • Implement data governance, security, documentation and development standards.

  • Develop high‑quality dashboards and reporting solutions that support operational and strategic decision making.
  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
  • Translate business needs into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Recommend improvements to data architecture, reporting processes and platform capability.
  • Promote best practice across business intelligence and data management.

About You

You'll be passionate about building reliable data platforms and creating solutions that are technically robust as well as commercially valuable.

You're equally comfortable working independently on complex technical challenges and collaborating with analysts, business users and senior stakeholders to deliver practical outcomes.
