Job summary

Pearson Carter is hiring a Business Intelligence Data Engineer to join its internal IT team. You will design and maintain data pipelines, BI infrastructure, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

The role requires strong SQL skills and experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central. Hybrid permanent position based in Kent/London, UK, with a salary around £50.5k and competitive package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as BI/Data Engineer or similar.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong experience with Power BI.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying, transformation, and data manipulation.
• Experience designing and managing ETL and data pipelines.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Understanding of ERP/business application data and processes.
• Experience creating data models, dashboards, and analytical reporting solutions.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Support the implementation and development of Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and optimise data models, reporting solutions, and dashboards in Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Define, develop, and maintain KPIs and reporting metrics.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, availability, and quality across the BI platform.
• Monitor BI infrastructure and scheduled data processes and resolve issues.
