BI & Analytics Manager
Based in Dover, this role is pivotal in the leisure, travel, and tourism industry.
Description
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop and optimise semantic models and curated datasets, ensuring they remain accurate and accessible.
- Ensure data consistency, quality, and scalability across the organisation.
- Nurture stakeholder relationships and translate business needs into insightful analytical solutions.
- Explore and integrate emerging technologies, including AI/ML, to enhance data capabilities.
- Promote and uphold data standards and best practices within the Analytics and Data Engineering team.
- Support and empower data-driven decision-making across the business.
- Carry out ETL processes and validate data for accuracy and completeness.
- Analyse data using SQL and scripting languages such as Python to provide actionable insights.
- Share clear and meaningful insights to guide both strategic and operational decisions.
Profile
- A strong background in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Experience working with large data sets from various sources.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Expertise in SQL and other data query languages.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- The ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges through data.
