Job summary

easyJet Airline Company PLC is seeking an Ops Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Operations Insights & Improvements team in the Luton head office. You will analyse and report on performance data, develop reports and visualisations to turn complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

You will create KPIs, support the BI community, and deliver training on analytical tools, ensuring documentation and accessibility across teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree or post-graduate qualification in a numerical/analytical subject or equivalent business experience.
  • Proven experience in numerical, analytical and problem‑solving roles.
  • Experience with SQL or Python or willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with BI/data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI/ThoughtSpot).
  • Strong data extraction, transformation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop reports, visualisations and presentations from complex data to drive insights.
  • Support and grow the BI Analyst community and promote data fluency.
  • Analyse datasets, perform ad-hoc analyses and monitor KPIs.
  • Deliver technical training on analytical tools and best practices.
  • Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure tools and reports are well-documented and accessible.
  • Manage multiple projects and deliver impactful results.

The Team

The Operations Insights & Improvements team is at the heart of easyJet’s analytics function, delivering data products and solutions that empower business users across the entire Operations domain. From Engineering and Ground Ops to Crew Planning and Ops Strategy, we work with a wide range of stakeholders to drive operational performance and shape the future of our data strategy.

The Role

As an Ops Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our operational needs by analysing and reporting on business performance data. You’ll develop reports, visualisations, and presentations that turn complex data into actionable insights, helping key stakeholders make informed decisions. You’ll also:

  • Support and grow the BI Analyst community, championing best practices and data fluency
  • Analyse complex datasets and perform ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions
  • Work with senior team members to establish and monitor KPIs and other performance metrics
  • Design and deliver technical training for analytical tools and ways of working
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ensure data tools and reports are well-documented and accessible
  • Manage multiple projects independently, delivering accurate and impactful results
Requirements of the Role
What we’re looking for
  • Degree or post-graduate qualification in a numerical/analytical subject, or equivalent business experience
  • Proven experience in a numerical, analytical, and problem-solving role
  • Experience with or willingness to learn coding languages such as SQL or Python
  • Familiarity with business intelligence/data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Thoughtspot, PowerBI)
  • Practical database skills, with a focus on data extraction and transformation
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Ability to deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Organised, motivated, and adaptable to change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams
  • Eagerness to learn and stay up to date with the latest in data analytics and visualisation
