Job summary

Buckinghamshire Council is seeking an experienced Better Lives Project Manager to lead transformational projects across Adult Social Care. You will coordinate complex initiatives, manage risks, and drive improvements working with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.

The role requires a strong project management background, PRINCE2 qualification (or equivalent), and exceptional communication and reporting skills to support decision-making and service improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, PRINCE2 is desirable.
• Significant project management experience in a complex environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple projects and improvement activities across Adult Social Care.
• Develop and maintain project plans, governance, risk registers and reporting tools.
• Engage with stakeholders and partners to ensure delivery and decision-making.
• Produce high-quality reports and briefings to support strategic decisions.
