Job summary

A leading energy construction firm in Glasgow is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). In this role, you'll be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and enforcing health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with a background in managing construction sites. This position is initially contracted until March 2026, offering a dynamic work environment and the chance to contribute to energy projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction sites, ideally in energy or utilities.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site management processes.
• Experience with HV/LV systems or battery storage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site management on a BESS installation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
• Enforce and maintain site Health & Safety standards.
• Monitor construction progress and resolve issues proactively.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
