A leading healthcare provider is seeking a compassionate Bereavement Nurse Specialist in Sheffield. The part-time role (30 hours/week) involves delivering quality support to families during times of loss. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Bereavement Nurse Specialist. This pivotal role provides leadership and expert knowledge across the Trust, ensuring families and colleagues receive high-quality, empathetic support during times of loss.
You will play a vital role in shaping and delivering our bereavement service, working collaboratively with key stakeholders to provide emotional support, practical guidance, and clinical expertise following the death of a child.
Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
Strong clinical expertise and leadership skills.
Exceptional empathy, listening, and communication skills.
Experience in supporting families through bereavement or complex emotional situations.
A passion for developing and delivering an exceptional bereavement service.
