Job summary

First Choice Recruitment is seeking motivated and detail-oriented FLT Bendi Operators with experience on Bendi machines for a long established printing company in Ledston, United Kingdom. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse.

The role focuses on safe handling, accurate shipping and receiving, routine inspections, and supporting daily operational goals with a strong emphasis on staying compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Good physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive tasks over extended periods.
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes to ensure accurate processing of inbound and outbound goods.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation.
• Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and precise placement of goods in designated storage areas.
• Support warehouse organisation by stacking, sorting, and storing products efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a safe working environment.
