Location: Royton
Hourly Rate: £16 – £20 – flexible depending on experience
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Bench Hand Joiner Key Responsibilities

• Expert operation of woodworking machinery with a focus on precision and craftsmanship
• Laminating and shaping bespoke components
• Manufacturing tailored joinery including reception desks, coffee shop counters, storage displays, cabinetry, wall features, sales counters, and restaurant seating areas
• Producing flawless finishes and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship on every project

Bench Hand Joiner Skills & Experience Required

• At least 5 years’ proven experience as a Bench Hand Joiner, ideally within a bespoke manufacturing environment
• Strong technical knowledge of woodworking machinery and advanced joinery techniques
• Demonstrated expertise in producing one-of-a-kind, custom-built furniture and fittings
• Ability to accurately read and interpret detailed technical drawings and bring them to life
