Overview

Our client is seeking two Bench Assemblers for a temporary role lasting 6‑8 weeks, possibly longer. The position starts on Monday 10th November and is paid weekly under PAYE.

Location & Hours

Location: Folkestone – CT19

Hours: 40 hours per week – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday‑Thursday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm Friday.

Rate

Starting rate up to £12.21 per hour PAYE with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly using hand tools to fit components.
• Operate machinery to cut, assemble parts and support production line functions.
• Pack finished items and perform general housekeeping of the production area.
• Stand for the entirety of the shift while working on the line.

Qualifications & Requirements

• No prior assembly experience required; use of hand tools is essential.
• Excellent hand‑to‑eye coordination.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items in a standing position.
• Own STC boots or suitable footwear.
• Own transport or live within a 20‑minute walk of CT19 5.
• Previous use of assembly or machine operating beneficial.

Additional Information

Bench Assembler candidates will work within a small production team on a production line. The job involves a mix of mechanical assembly, machine operation, packing, and housekeeping duties.
