Job summary

Qteg in Lewisham is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Teaching Assistant to provide tailored 1:1 support to a child with ADHD, focusing on emotional regulation and positive engagement. The role involves working both inside and outside the classroom to help the pupil refocus and participate in learning.

You will use sports-based activities and movement breaks to build trust and support regulation, with a calm, consistent approach and clear boundaries during transitions throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with ADHD, emotional regulation and behavioural needs.
• Ability to deliver regulation sessions away from the classroom.
• Calm, consistent and approachable approach to support.

Responsibilities
