GSL Education in Leicester is seeking a Behaviour Support and Care Worker to support children with SEMH, autism and complex needs. This role offers daily school hours and is based on-site at a Leicester school.

You will provide 1:1 support, help develop tailored behaviour plans, and maintain safeguarding and safety for children. DBS checks will be required, with assistance offered for one if needed. Immediate start preferred, full-time hours.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting Social Emotional Mental Health, Autism, Complex Needs or challenging behaviour.
• Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) registered to the Update Service.
• Available for Full-Time work, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support and Care Worker:

• Provide 1:1 support to children with challenging behaviour, Social and Emotional Mental Health needs, Autism, and those who have been through the care system.
• Develop and implement individualised behaviour interventions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.

Requirements of a Behaviour Support and Care Worker:

• Experience in supporting Social Emotional and Mental Health, Autism, Complex Needs, and challenging behaviour.
• Personal and professional experience will be considered.
• Should have experience working with children, young people or young adults with mental health requirements, challenging behaviour or Autism. Available immediately
• Must have a Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/ Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service. - If you don't already have a DBS, we can help you apply for one.
• Available for Full-Time Work - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm (NON-NEGOTIABLE).
