Job summary

Academics Ltd in Strood is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Specialist for KS1 at a mainstream primary school. This is a full-time, long-term position focused on children with special educational needs.

You will work closely with teachers to support pupils with ASD and ADHD, help manage difficult behaviours, and promote a calm, inclusive learning environment. A warm, communicative approach is essential. Experience in a primary setting and a proactive, empathetic attitude are highly valued.

A mainstream primary school in Strood is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistants with a real passion for working with children with special education needs, in particular Behaviour and SEMH.

This is a full time position on a long term basis.

The school promotes the significance of valuing every child as an individual and celebrating all achievements and efforts made in curricular and extra-curricular activities. The school has a real community feel, with positive relationships and good communication amongst staff and parents being imperative as a whole school view.
