A leading health care provider in Hull and East Yorkshire is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to develop and deliver training to support individuals with complex needs. The successful applicant will have a Level 2 qualification in health and social care, strong presentation skills, and a compassionate approach. Position:Behaviour Support Practitioner
Location:Regional- travel essential. Overnight hotel stays essential
Contract type:Full Time 40 hours Monday-Friday
Rate: Up to £27,648 + £3,000 car allowance
Interviews- will be conducted at the Exemplar Health Care Support Centre in Sheffield. 17 Europa View, Sheffield Business park. S9 1XH
In this role, you’ll play a key role in supporting people who display behaviours of concern and the colleagues who care for them.
You’ll develop, deliver and evaluate training programmes from both psychological and physical perspectives.
You’ll also support our care home based colleagues to develop behaviour support plans, review behaviour records and role model effective management of behaviours of concern.
