A supportive school in Horsham is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work closely with pupils needing additional behavioural support. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work directly with pupils who require additional behavioural support, helping them engage positively in lessons and school life. You will play a key role in implementing strategies to manage behaviour, develop social skills, and foster independence, working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
