Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working experience as a Level 3 teaching assistant.
• Experience working with primary aged children and their families.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Devise and implement behaviour and social skills interventions.
• Plan and organise programmes for pupils experiencing behavioural difficulties.
• Communicate with parents and outside agencies as part of intervention.

Skills

Knowledge of child protection procedures

Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice

Ability to extract information and present reports

Education

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

Good literacy and numeracy GCSE Maths and English

Further accreditations in BESD, social skills, SEND
